Guthrie Weapons Policy

Guthrie is committed to maintaining a safe and secure environment for our patients, caregivers and visitors. We appreciate your cooperation and support of this effort.   

Guthrie policy prohibits carrying or transporting firearms or weapons on our property. This includes but it not limited to switchblades, hunting knives and pepper spray.  

Patients at Guthrie clinics and visitors to any Guthrie location who bring weapons will be asked to remove the weapon from the property.  

Patients who bring a weapon to one of our hospitals will be asked to turn it over while in our care. Law enforcement may be called, depending on the type of weapon.
